  • It’s a long day! Please make sure you are prepared.

    Clothes - comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes should be worn.

    Food - Students are in charge of their own lunch and water bottle. We will have refilling stations.

    Instrument - don’t forget your instrument! Percussion students should come with drum sticks.

  • Marching Band dues (also known as Fair Share Dues) are $400 for the season and can be paid via Venmo to @IronHorseBand. All members are required to pay dues including Color Guard, Competition Band, and Friday Night Band.

  • The band performs at home games for the length of the football season. They will also attend most of the away games and play in the stands (no on-field performance).

    Typically there will be two to four competitions that the band will travel to, these are all-day events.

    In 2023 the band was invited to “Band Day” at USC where we performed on the field with the USC band and other invited high schools.

  • On home game nights, dinner might be provided to students before the game if a sponsor has chosen the “Feed the Band” option.

    For away games, transportation will be provided to and from the game. Snacks will be provided before leaving the school or on the bus.

    Water will be provided to all students in the band.

    Concessions are available for purchase and students will have time slotted to visit concessions during the game.

  • Competition days are all day events. Students will travel by bus to the competition and will help load and unload equipment, instruments, and uniforms.

    Volunteers are always needed on Competition day. All students are required to attend all competitions unless the director pre-approves your absent. A full Itinerary will be made public about a week or tw prior via the band app.
